Investor Advisory

Investor Advisory is an advisory function within Rothschild & Co’s Global Advisory business. This team provides clients with strategic equity market advice and investor engagement services to help them compete for capital as effectively as possible. This includes identifying and accessing the most relevant equity capital pools for our clients, helping them to understand how the market perceives their investment case, and optimising their equity story. We have also developed a leading ESG capability.

Role

The purpose of the role is to support senior team members of the Investor Advisory team in the preparation, execution and delivery of Investor Advisory services and support the ongoing development of this business function. This role reports to the Co-Heads of Investor Advisory and will require extensive interactions will all levels of investment bankers across the bank and, in time, external clients. Depending on experience, candidates may be considered for a full-time position or a 6-month internship opportunity, with the potential to extend. Responsibilities

  • Support the senior team in the delivery of investor engagement advice and client roadshows
  • Conduct investor targeting and quantitative analysis
  • Engage with all levels of investment bankers in the Investor Advisory, M&A and Equity Advisory teams worldwide
  • Assist with the preparation of client reports
  • Prepare presentations and pitch documents
  • Liaise with clients at a senior level
  • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintain personal networks

Education

  • Degree (or equivalent) from a leading institution; 2.1 or above

Experience, Skills and Competencies Required

Essential:

  • Keen interest in global capital markets
  • Conceptual understanding of financial markets, equities and portfolio management
  • Strong presentation and reporting skills, both written and interpersonal
  • Can demonstrate initiative, be proactive and take ownership of projects
  • High level of attention to detail and the ability to prioritise a varied workload
  • Advanced Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel skills
  • Aptitude for ongoing personal and professional development

Desirable:

  • Relevant prior work experience and/or internships
