Donal Smith

Donal Smith is an Operating Partner at Five Arrows, focused on Data and Financial Technology.

He is Co-Founder and Executive Chairman of Credit Benchmark. Prior to co-founding Credit Benchmark, he was CEO of Data Explorers and has previously held roles at Thomson Reuters, including CEO of Thomson Financial in Europe and Asia. He was CEO of FT.com and Director of Electronic Publishing for the Financial Times Group.

Previous non-executive roles include Financial News, BISAM S.A., Reach plc, and Selerity Inc.

Current non-executive roles include Chairman of Rimes Technologies, Non-Executive Director of Pirum and Chairman of DeHavilland/Forefront Group.
