Dean is Executive Vice Chairman at Rothschild & Co Wealth Management. His responsibilities include supporting senior colleagues in the management team, assisting Client Advisers, participating in the firm’s business acceptance procedures and chairing the Investment Risk Committee.
He joined the firm in 1986 starting in the Private Client Department, where he specialised in the management of private client and charity portfolios. In 1991, Dean took over responsibility for the firm’s retail UK equity funds and related institutional mandates, before returning to the Private Client Department in 1995. Since then, he has focused on advising private clients, trustees and charities on their investments and related requirements.
Dean read Modern History at Oriel College, Oxford. He is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment and a Chartered Wealth Manager.
Outside of work, Dean enjoys reading, exploring historic sites, often with his family, and supporting Arsenal Football Club.
